Think and Grow Rich! by Napoleon Hill
I had picked up this book because I saw a few reviews on amazon that said although it was written almost 50 years ago, its information was still relevant today. This peaked my interest so I decided to take a chance and have it delivered to my doorstep, and having read it I can say that it was a chance well taken. This book is written by a man who spent more then 25 years studying and interviewing successful wealthy people. While doing all of this research, he started to see commonalities between all of these people. From this information he was able to write this book, which isn't so much about becoming rich as it is about how to be SUCCESSFUL at whatever your goal is. (And in most peoples cases this is to be rich!)
Ready for Anything by David Allen
After being so impressed by David Allen's first book: Getting Things Done which you can read my review of it here, I decided to go out and get his second book Ready For Anything
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change By Stephen R. Covey was an interesting read for me, I bought this book at the same time that I bought Getting Things Done by David Allen (which you can read my review here). I decided to read Getting Things Done first since it was the primary reason for the purchases.
Getting Things Done by David Allen
The book Getting Things Done by David Allen was the catalyst in one of the biggest perspective changes of my life. Before I read this book I was rather adept at procrastinating. I would constantly get great ideas for a business or website, but after one or two weeks (or as long as it took to get the next idea) my mind would completely shut out the old idea, even if I wanted to, I wasn't able to force my mind into working on the project.
